Why do I contribute to all services if they're not all active?

There's a few reasons why you contribute towards all services from your first payment onwards, whether they're active or in the process of being set up. Here's why...



We know services will have different go-live dates, but that’s for us to worry about (all part of the service). When the services kick in, we use the funds you've contributed to pay your bills. 

So when winter comes and your usage goes up from sticking the heating and lights on more often, you've already contributed towards the extra energy you're using. It makes it easier for you to budget and takes away any worries of getting a huge energy bill just after Christmas (no, thanks!). 

Not only that, as some of your suppliers bill us in advance and others in arrears, this makes sure there's always enough money to your pot to pay them on time.
