In the unlikely event that your housemate doesn't pay up, we'll do everything we can to collect payment from them.
Once a payment fails (and it isn't paid within 7 days) the housemate in debt will enter into our credit control process. This will ultimately lead to the outstanding balance being passed onto our third party debt collection agency.
We'll never ask you to cover the missed payments from your housemate. In exceptional circumstances, you may be asked to pay a High Risk Housemate Deposit to make sure there's enough money to pay your providers.
If you're the housemate falling behind, please get in touch with us so we can arrange a more comfortable payment plan for you.
If there's still an unpaid balance from your housemate once the account has closed and the final balance is in credit, refunds will be processed once the outstanding balance has cleared.
